Serving our elders and neighbors with disabilities in Benton County
Services
Are you over 60 or have a disability? Volunteer Interfaith Caregivers (VIC) offers immediate assistance handling life’s daily living challenges. Even a temporary disability for individuals of any age is a reason.
Volunteer
Volunteer caregivers at VIC come from all walks of life and ages. They do not have to have any particular skill set, only the desire to help a fragile population meet the demands of daily life.
Donate
VIC is transitioning from a 100% volunteer-led and staffed nonprofit to one with paid professional leadership. Help us remain self-sustaining so we can continue serving the community for years to come.
Our Mission
We believe older adults in our community deserve the dignity of aging gracefully in the familiar surroundings of their own homes and that people with disabilities should have this same recognition. Our Mission is to help these two fragile groups of people live independently for as long as possible.

Who We Are
Volunteer Interfaith Caregivers (VIC) began in 1986 as a 501(c)3 nonprofit with the mission of helping seniors and individuals with disabilities manage routine challenges in their lives. The original inspiration to create VIC led to an agreement between eight Corvallis churches, each congregation providing volunteers to do this essential work.
Whether within each church community or the community at large, hundreds of VIC’s Volunteers have served hundreds of Care Receivers since this humanitarian outreach group’s inception. We are proud to be an interfaith organization dedicated to serving neighbors in need regardless of beliefs.
